Where I Call Home:

I've been very happy to call Minneapolis my home for the last 6 years, but I'm from Racine, Wisconsin. Growing up there, I couldn't wait for a chance to move out, but I've grown to love and appreciate my original home more and more as each year passes.

Ares I'm Hoping to Grow:

I hope to grow in coalition building and participatory research methods. I greatly value a face-to-face and hands-on approach to research and problem solving.

Values That Shape My Work:

Human connection is my joie de vivre. The community that I've built around myself in Minneapolis brings me unbound joy each day, and I am always eager to meet new people and connect with them. I believe that everyone can find common ground with anyone.

A Meaningful Meal or Tradition:

I’m an incredibly un-picky eater, and I’m equally as easy to please. My fondest meal-memories always include being surrounded by loved ones, whether that be family, friends, or a mix. My most recent favorite meal occurred just a few weeks ago when my parents and one of my sisters and her kids came to visit my brother and I here in Minneapolis. Spirits were high as we shared stories under the sun around our spread of uninspiring delivery pizza, delicious kale salad, and a crisp rosé. The only low point was when my 4 year old nephew’s slice was stolen by my brother’s beloved dog Banjo.
