Margaret has over 30 years of experience working on issues related to affordable housing, civil rights, and community development. After spending some time working as a community organizer, she graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2003. Most recently, Margaret led the Housing Justice Center where her work focused on impact litigation and community driven policy development. She also spent six years as Director of Community Development at Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. She is known for working with people across disciplines and differences to find practical, equitable, community driven solutions to complex problems.
Outside of work Margaret loves music, theater, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature.
