Director, Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP)

Amy Delahanty most recently served as Chief of Staff for the National Center for Principled Leadership and Research Ethics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this role she provided overall management and coordination of NCPRE projects, processes, staff, and students.

Previously, Amy served as a public policy mediator for the National Policy Consensus Center, the State of Oregon’s center for Collaborative Governance and Public Policy Alternative Dispute Resolution. She spent much of her time devoted to supporting, managing, and facilitating cross-sector groups to collectively vision together and collaboratively work through conflict to address the most pressing issues in their communities. Amy has also served as an instructor in the Transiciones Program at Mt. Hood Community College. This program, deeply rooted in Popular Education and taught in Spanish, aims to support students pursuing their college education and career goals.

She holds a master’s degree in social work from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from The Ohio State University. In her off-time, Amy enjoys running, ceramics, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter.
