Sarah Tschida is the Coordinator for the Resilient Communities Project, which connects local governments, students, and faculty to collaborate on research and technical assistance projects designed to advance local sustainability and resilience.
She has a MA in Educational Policy and Administration with a focus in intercultural and international education from the University of Minnesota and studied Communication at the College of St. Benedict.
Sarah comes to CURA from the University of Minnesota Learning Abroad Center, where her work centered on creating experiential learning opportunities, facilitating external partnerships, student services, and faculty development. She was previously a board member for HECUA: Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs, where she supported academic-community partnerships for social change.
Sarah is an active transportation and transit advocate who believes in places designed for people and the power of the front yard.
