All publications have been assigned keywords based on the topics included in the publication. For both basic and advanced searches, the default is to search the keyword, abstract, author, and title fields for each search term you enter.
The choice of keywords to use to index or search for a particular publication is highly subjective. If your search on a topic yields no results, it means that either (1) your search term does not match the keyword used by CURA to index reports on the topic, or (2) CURA has not produced any publications on the topic.
To see if a particular keyword has been used to index publications, check the lists of keywords below, organized alphabetically. If the keyword is not listed, it was not used to index publications (however, the word might still appear in the title or abstract fields of a record). In some cases, cross references are listed next to entries on the keyword lists to direct you to alternate terms that were used.
