Search CURA Publications Catalog

The CURA publications library is currently being digitized by the University of Minnesota Digital Conservancy. When the project is complete, the entire CURA publications library will be online and fully searchable. Unfortunately, during this process we are not able to honor individual requests for publications . Additionally, we no longer have physical copies of publications to send out.

New publications are digitized daily and the publications catalog on the CURA website is not automatically updated with links to scanned copies, so please search the CURA collection at the Digital Conservancy for the publications you are looking for:

Search for reports, monographs, CURA Reporter articles, and other publications stemming from CURA-supported projects.

  • For search terms entered in the Search full text box, only publications matching all terms will be found. Use fewer terms to broaden your search, or more terms to narrow it.
  • The optional Program and Keywords fields can help further refine your search.
  • Search results will be displayed below the search form.

Most of these institutions, based primarily in the southern states, have been under increasing financial stress in the last twenty years. The United Negro College Fund is a nonprofit fundraising organization for forty-one Black colleges and universities. The local chapter wanted a demographic profile of potential donors, and this 1992 study was carried out by a CURA graduate student.

Mapping Child Care Equity and School Readiness Disparities. 2007 Tabbut, Julia.

Nearly 70 percent of parents with young children in Minnesota are in the workforce and rely on child care programs to provide their children with safe, healthy environments, nurturing, and early learningラthe foundations for school readiness. Research shows that all children can benefit from quality child care, but when parents who earn low wages or have little formal education can access quality child care, their children get a boost and can 'catch up' to their more advantaged peers.

However, there is a portion of the population who are unable to travel because they lack private transportation, and public transportation does not adequately cover their area or they are physically unable to use transportation due to disabilities and health reasons.
