The CURA publications library is currently being digitized by the University of Minnesota Digital Conservancy. When the project is complete, the entire CURA publications library will be online and fully searchable. Unfortunately, during this process we are not able to honor individual requests for publications . Additionally, we no longer have physical copies of publications to send out.

New publications are digitized daily and the publications catalog on the CURA website is not automatically updated with links to scanned copies, so please search the CURA collection at the Digital Conservancy for the publications you are looking for:

GrandNet: A Community Electronic Network in Rural Minnesota.

Author:
Dressel, Libby, Melinda Jackson, Eugene Borgida, and John Sullivan.

Grand Rapids has established a community electronic network. What effect will it have on the community? Will it help resolve disparities between this rural community and other urban centers? A research group interested in political psychology is assessing the effects on Grand Rapids and a comparison community that doesn't have an electronic network, Detroit Lakes. Their 1999 baseline surveys of the two communities are presented here along with results from interview and focus groups in Grand Rapids.
