Land and Value in the Heart of the Upper Midwest.
In 1994, total investments in real estate were going up, but some locations and some land use categories were losing value. A professor of geography and a graduate student studied state and county tax records in the twenty-three counties that make up the commuter areas of the Twin Cities, Rochester, and St. Cloud. This article summarizes the results. For the complete study, see Real Property Value in the Heart of the Upper Midwest.
