Government Support for Child Care.
A survey of 1,215 Minnesotans in 1987 contained two questions about government involvement in child care: Should government provide day care for pre-school children of working parents? And, if so, who should provide it? School districts or licensed day care providers? Or should money go directly to the parents for purchase of day care services?
