The CURA publications library is currently being digitized by the University of Minnesota Digital Conservancy. When the project is complete, the entire CURA publications library will be online and fully searchable. Unfortunately, during this process we are not able to honor individual requests for publications . Additionally, we no longer have physical copies of publications to send out.

New publications are digitized daily and the publications catalog on the CURA website is not automatically updated with links to scanned copies, so please search the CURA collection at the Digital Conservancy for the publications you are looking for:

Housing and Aging in Place: City of North St.Paul.

Author:
Ingvalson, Drew.

PA 5261: Housing Policy, spring 2014. (Instructor Edward Goetz, Humphrey School of Public Affairs)

Most of the housing stock (both single-family and multifamily) in North Saint Paul is post–World War II vintage, and many of these homes are in need of repair or upgrading. However, many aging residents do not have the financial resources, skills, or assistance to make improvements or repairs. This may also be true of newer residents who have just purchased an older home, or landlords who own apartment complexes. In spring 2014, students in an Urban Planning course focused on housing policy researched and made recommendations for programs, policies, and strategies the city can use to support aging in place and make North St Paul truly a “community for a lifetime.”
