Northwest Area Foundation Community Survey: Results and Technical Report.

The purpose of this survey was to better understand the problems smaller communities face and what is needed to improve these communities. Questions were sent to non-metropolitan households in eight states: Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington. Topic areas of questions included most important problems facing the community, services and leadership in the community, economy and business conditions, obstacles to growth and development, and citizen involvement.
