The CURA publications library is currently being digitized by the University of Minnesota Digital Conservancy. When the project is complete, the entire CURA publications library will be online and fully searchable. Unfortunately, during this process we are not able to honor individual requests for publications . Additionally, we no longer have physical copies of publications to send out.

New publications are digitized daily and the publications catalog on the CURA website is not automatically updated with links to scanned copies, so please search the CURA collection at the Digital Conservancy for the publications you are looking for:

Latino Realities: A Vibrant Community Emerges in South Minneapolis. [Realidades Latinas: Una Comunidad Vibrante Emerge en el Sur de Minneapolis].

Author:
HACER (Hispanic Advocacy and Community Empowerment through Research).

Tremendous,' 'immense,' and 'dramatic' are the words professionals and business people used to describe the growth of the Latino community of South Minneapolis. This study asks the questions that so many have been asking: What is happening in the Latino community of South Minneapolis? How many Latinos are now in the area? Where are people living? What is life like for this burgeoning community? And perhaps most importantly, how is this energetic community contributing to the city? This report seeks to answer these questions based on its findings from numerous focus groups and interviews, in addition to analysis of available quantitative data. The publication is presented in English and in Spanish on alternating pages.
