Building Community: The First Five Years of NPCR.
Neighborhood Planning for Community Revitalization helps strengthen neighborhood organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul by providing applied research assistance through a consortium of Twin Cities colleges and universities. This 1999 report, based on its five-year evaluation, shows how NPCR has been building neighborhood capacity as well as academic capacity since 1993. It highlights two special projects of NPCR--University Neighborhood Network and Neighborhoods on the Internet--as well as discussing ways in which NPCR is working and new directions that it anticipates will strengthen the program.
