This summary project collected data from households in seven counties of Northeast Minnesota, Crow Wing County, and the port cities of Duluth (Minnesota) and Superior (Wisconsin) to study the current labor force and report on workers who might be available, under what conditions, and how they can be found. The report includes descriptions of survey findings, preliminary analysis of the data, and comparisons within the data. Factors in the better use of the effective labor force are also discussed.
