Survey of Creative Enterprises in the Raymond-University Ave. Area

The Saint Anthony Park Community Council (SAPCC) promotes active citizen involvement in local issues, ensures the neighborhood has an effective voice in government decisions, and builds connections in the community. Stable, below-market rents are essential to maintaining the economic viability of many of the creative enterprises in this area. SAPCC would like to look into the possibility of buying a building to provide leased space at an enduring below market rate. Before proceeding with a feasibility study more information is required about the creative businesses in the area. Andrew Finken, a Public Policy graduate student at the Humphrey School, surveyed the creative industries and artisan businesses in the area. The results are being used to organize the group and determine feasibility of a dedicated below-market rate space for creative enterprises.
