Land Use Forum

The University District Alliance (Alliance) is a coalition of neighborhood and business organizations who are working together to improve the neighborhood communities adjacent to the University’s campus in Minneapolis. The Alliance wanted to experiment with convening a Land Use Forum, made up of interested people from each of the University District neighborhoods. The purpose of the Forum is to share land use and planning learning and information among the neighborhoods; learn from the planning and land use regulation experiences in other communities; and to develop relevant land use, planning, or community process tools. Hilary Holmes, an Urban and Regional Planning graduate student in the Humphrey School, assisted in the development of the Land Use Forum. The results are being used to develop the Land Use Forum.
