This summer, seven teams have been working on tools to strengthen their community, addressing issues that range from making public decision-making processes more transparent, to improving access to help for youth experiencing homelessness... from helping businesses owned by people of color connect with customers, to making public health info easier to understand for communities who speak limited English... and more! Tools range from high-tech to low-tech, and are developed through collaborations that are diverse in skills, expertise and perspectives. Learn more about CURA:Tech and the projects.

Visit Eventbrite for additional details about Demo Day and to RSVP (optional, but appreciated).

About CURA:Tech CURA:Tech is a civic technology incubator, providing support (grants, technical assistance, and networking opportunities) to collaborative teams working on tools that address an issue they've identified. In particular, CURA:Tech aims to improve access to jobs, health resources, transportation, housing, education, and engagement with decision-makers and public processes, and to create benefit for low-income communities and communities of color in the Twin Cities.
