Mike Greco is program manager for the Resilient Communities Project, a joint program of CURA and the Institute on the Environment that matches University course-based projects with sustainability-related needs in one Minnesota community each year. Mike also serves as CURA's communications coordinator, responsible for editing and producing the CURA Reporter and other publications, maintaining CURA's website, and coordinating the center's outreach and public relations.

Mike has a master of urban and regional planning degree from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, with a specialization in environmental planning and sustainability. He also has a master of arts degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed doctoral coursework in communication studies at the University of Illinois. Before joining CURA, Mike taught communication studies at the University of Minnesota and St. Olaf College, and worked as a freelance writer, editor, and public policy researcher. He serves on the Dakota County Planning Commission, as well as local and regional advisory committees on urban planning issues and sustainability.
