Kathie Doty
Title:
Director, Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP)
Kathie Doty is the liaison between Hennepin County and the University of Minnesota and, through the Hennepin–University Partnership (HUP), is responsible for strengthening the relationship between the two organizations in areas where mutual benefit can be found. In addition to working at CURA, Kathie also reports to the Hennepin County Deputy Administrator.
Kathie formerly worked at Hennepin County, holding positions of increasing responsibility in several departments. Most recently, she was a public policy consultant working with metropolitan counties, the Metropolitan Council, and other governmental units. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, and a master of business administration degree from the University of St. Thomas.
