Esther Wattenberg
Policy and Program Coordinator in Family and Child Welfare, CURA
In addition to her work with CURA, Esther Wattenberg is Coordinator for Special Projects for the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW) at the University of Minnesota, is a professor in the School of Social Work, and serves on various state and national bodies. Esther holds a master of arts degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago.
Esther’s teaching and research interests are in the field of family and children’s social services policies and programs, with a particular focus on child welfare. She has published in the field of integrated services, paternity issues, kinship care, school-linked services, and children in neglecting families.
