Jeff Matson is project coordinator for the Minneapolis Neighborhood Information System (MNIS) and Minnesota 3D (M3D). Both projects are capacity-building, community GIS initiatives designed to assist neighborhood organizations and other community partners with access to data, mapping, and GIS project development.

Jeff is a graduate of the Masters in Geographic Information Science program at the University of Minnesota, where his research focused on local environmental hazards and their potential impacts on disadvantaged communities.
