Director, CCRR
Dr. Larry Knopp is professor of geography and director of the Center for Community and Regional Research (CCRR) at the University of Minnesota at Duluth. With assistance from the Department of Geography, College of Liberal Arts, and an advisory board, he reviews proposals and administers a wide range of both discipline-based and interdisciplinary research projects.
Larry’s teaching and research interests are in the areas of urban political economy and cultural change, especially as these pertain to sexuality, gender, and class. He has a Ph.D. in geography.
