Michael D. Greco
Program Coordinator, Community Growth Options (U-CGO) and
Communications Director, CURA
Mike is responsible for directing the Community Growth Options (U-CGO) program, which provides planning-related applied research and technical assistance to developing communities on the edge of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. In his capacity as communications director, Mike is responsible for website development, outreach and public relations activities, and editing and managing production of the CURA Reporter and other CURA publications and reports.
Mike earned bachelor of arts degrees in political science and speech communication from the University of Louisville and a master of arts degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed doctoral course work in communication studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has previous experience as a public policy researcher, professional writer and editor, and high school and college policy ndebate coach and communication studies instructor. Mike is currently enrolled part-time in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
