CURA, 1000 Friends of Minnesota, and Humphrey Institute Launch Community Growth Options (February 2008)

The McKnight Foundation recently awarded two complementary grants to project partners 1000 Friends of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota’s Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) and Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs to fund Community Growth Options, a joint project to help Minnesota communities address the challenges of rapid growth.

University Fellowship Will Honor Twin Cities Housing Advocate Charles Krusell (December 2007)

Charles R. Krusell was a pioneer in urban renewal and city development. Throughout his career, he led organizations to lift up and redefine neighborhoods, and his leadership helped create programs that have been replicated around the country. In recognition of Mr. Krusell's lasting contribution to the Twin Cities community, his family, friends, and colleagues have named the Charles R. Krusell Community Development Fellowship in his honor.

Community Assistantship Program Receives Blandin and McKnight Foundation Grants (December 2007)
