CURA Programs for Faculty Initiated Project

The following CURA programs provide grants or technical assistance for faculty-initiated projects:

Faculty Interactive Research Program—support for faculty public policy research that involves interaction with community groups or government agencies in Minnesota
Fesler-Lampert Chair in Urban and Regional Affairs—an endowed chair position that supports faculty work on projects related to urban and regional affairs in Minnesota
University–Neighborhood Network (UNN)—support for course-based projects that involve students working with neighborhood and community organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul
Hennepin–University Partnership (HUP)—a collaborative initiative between Hennepin County and the University of Minnesota to support community-based research, share academic and practitioner expertise, and provide students with field experience
Minnesota Center for Survey Research (MCSR)—survey research and consultation services for University faculty working on public policy issues in Minnesota
Center for Community and Regional Research (CCRR)—support for cooperative research involving University of Minnesota at Duluth faculty
New Initiatives—supports faculty projects that are unrelated to CURA programs listed above
