CURA provides the following software on every desktop computer. We support that software and look to keep current versions of each.

In addition, CURA has some special-purpose software that exists on only a few computers. If you think you need additional software, contact Will Craig.
1. SPSS. Statistical Program for the social sciences. Copies are on the PC in the computer lab (Rm. 348), Will Craig’s PC, and at MCSR.
2. Dreamweaver. Website design and management software. On Mike Greco’s Macintosh and Jeff Corn’s PC.
3. FileMaker Pro. Database software. Used in CAP office.
4. Page Layout software.
Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.x—used for creating and editing PDF documents from
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or other software. Windows versions on PCs in Jeff Corn’s, Briana Chatters’s, Jeff Matson’s offices and in computer lab (Rm. 348). Mac version on Mike Greco’s machine.

Adobe Photoshop 6.x—Photo editing program. Windows version on Jeff Corn’s, Briana Chatters’s, and the computer lab (Rm. 348) PCs. Mac version (version CS2) on Mike Greco’s machine.
Adobe Illustrator CS—Graphic design program. Windows version on Jeff Matson’s and computer lab (Rm. 348) PCs. Mac version (version CS2) on Mike Greco’s machine.
Macromedia Freehand—Graphic design program. Windows version on Jeff Matson’s PC.
6. Iomega CD. Software needed for external CD burner. On Will Craig’s machine.
7. Mapping software (with Jeff Matson and Computer Lab)
ArcGIS—version 9.x
MapPublisher—Freehand extension for direct importing of GIS files
