Demographic Profiles from the 2000 U.S. Census of Population—General demographics and selected social, economic, and housing characteristics including age, income, race, ancestry, occupation, housing type, occupancy, tenure, and units in housing structure. Four-page report available for Minnesota, Minneapolis, St. Paul, cities, congressional districts, counties, metro areas, reservations, and townships. Posted on the University of Minnesota Government Publications Library Web page. (NOTE: Printouts of the four-page reports for Minnesota, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and each Minnesota county are available in the CURA Library in the orange notebook on the “2000 Census” shelf.)

Statistical Profiles from 2000 U.S. Census of Population and Housing (Summary File 3)—A more detailed breakdown of 2000 U.S. Census data than the Demographic Profiles. Data for household type and size, presence of children, language spoken, ancestry, school enrollment and educational attainment, employment status, occupation, place of work, household and family income, and poverty status. An eleven-page report is available for Minnesota and for each county. Posted on the State Demographer’s Office website.
