CURA supports the following computer policies and expects compliance from employees and others using our machines.

1. No pirating. It is illegal and unethical to copy software. Do not make copies of CURA software for personal use.

2. Don't install outside software. This can cause technical (and legal) problems. Installation of any software should be done by Doug only.

3. Make your own backups. You know what is important and irreplaceable. For methods, see the Backing Up Your Computer page.

4. Special Policies for Computer Room. See the Computer Room Etiquette page.

5. University-wide IT policies apply.
